He won 8 straight USATF titles, 2000–07 and won bronze in the '07 World Championships before continuing his long and varied injury string.

A few days back the colorful Cajun, known to do his spear chucking with multi-hued hair or wearing outrageous warpaint, posted this to his Facebook page:
