Ethiopian Smashes Indoor 3,000m World Record

Less than a week after breaking the indoor 1,500m world record, 22 year old Ethiopian Genzebe Dibaba set another world record Thursday. At the XL Galan meet in Stockholm, Sweden, Dibaba ran an eye opening 8:16.60, besting the former world record of 8:23.72 set by Meseret Defar (ETH) in 2007.
