All the doubters, all the haters. The silent treatment from peers. The shunned reaction from track and field event organizers. The early comeback struggles with slow times, evoking the “Told you so” response.
But Justin Gatlin always had a clear conscious. He always had resolute belief.
He always dug into the same grit, the same resolve that carried him from youthful stardom in Pensacola to the gold medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens.
