The IAAF Diamond League resumes in Monte Carlo on Friday evening with the 10th meeting in the programme and the penultimate one before the World Championships in Moscow next month.
Monaco is clearly a good place for Mo Farah. Two years ago at the IAAF Diamond League meeting in the Stade Louis II he set his personal best 5000m time of 12:53.11, and two years before that his 1500m personal best of 3:33.98.
As the last big event before the IAAF World Championships get underway in Moscow on August 10, the IAAF Diamond League meeting in Monaco will have a special resonance for those athletes who will gather in the Stade Louis II on Friday evening (19).
