As I write this blog and I notice the date I realize that today is a very important day in America's history. Today is the 8th Anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. It's a day of remembrance for those that had passed on that day. I dedicate this vlog to them and their families. 

I'm blessed to be here in Florida for the next few days to spend some time with my family. I'm having a great time being home. My parents are doing well and that makes me feel good. My little brother Wesley is also arriving later this afternoon from Seattle, Washington with his girl friend Megan. We're all excited to see them both. Tomorrow morning we'll take off for our trip to the Florida Keys. It should be a great time. (Please cross your fingers for good weather while we are down there).

The Tempo run of 4-miles this morning went really well. I ran 20:45 for 4-miles averaging 5:10 per mile. This was my first tempo run in quite some time. This past 2-months has been a building up process for the very hard training that I have coming up in October. My father and I are working very diligently to complete my new training regiment, a process which includes: studying race footage, reading all types of books for research purposes and taking detailed notes. It's a tedious process but it'll all be worth it once we finish.

I pray that everyone has a blessed day on this day where ever you may be. I know that in our own way we will honor the memory of those that were effected by the attacks of 9/11.
