San Diego High siblings Anisa Bowen-Fontenot and Jasir Fontenot won the straightaway hurdles events on Saturday at the California state high school championships. Bowen-Fontenot, a senior, won the girls 100 hurdles in 13.07 seconds and was immediately followed by freshman Jasir's victory in the boys 110-meter hurdles in a time of 13.21m at Buchanan High in Fresno.
