WSU’s 162 points gave them a 38-point win over second-place Long Beach State. Oregon State won its first MPSF title with 128.5 points. Washington State’s Micaela De Mello improved upon her previous personal best in the 60-meter hurdles, shaving down her time to 8.00, the No. 3 NCAA mark this season. De Mello turned right around to run a personal best and place second in the 60 dash as well. The Cougars' sprint show didn’t end there, with Mason Lawyer running 6.55 seconds in the men’s 60, good for a top-10 time and his first personal best since the Spokane Invitational back in December. Parker Duskin was the first from WSU to nab a win, claiming the men's 60-meter hurdles in 7.71. Trinity Barnett of Long Beach State won the women’s 60 with a personal best of 7.27. Hooper had fouled on all three attempts of her best event, the weight throw on Friday, and made sure to help her team overcome the loss of those points. Mark Milner of the Pilots had a winning performance in the men’s 800, running 1:51.11, finishing .27 seconds in front of CSF’s Jonathan Pfieffer. Rosemary Longisa of WSU won the women’s 800 in 2:10.28. Milner also placed second in the mile earlier in the day, finishing behind teammate Jonas Price, who timed a 4:03.23. Ainsley Herron ran 4:46.47 for the Beavers in the women’s race to take home a win. In the men’s heptathlon, Aidan Turner of Long Beach State came out on top, coming in first in the pole vault, shot put, and both 60 dash and 60-meter hurdles. His final tallied score of 5,394 gave him a new best. Lilian Turban of Hawaii won the women’s high jump with her clearance at 1.80m (5-10.75). Oregon State went 2-4-5 in the event.
