Asafa Powell on Justin Gatlin

Asafa Powell says he is not sure if American sprinter Justin Gatlin will be able to match up with the world's fastest men when and if he returns to the track.

Gatlin, who is serving a four-year ban, which expires in July, was quoted as saying he will be targeting Usain Bolt, Tyson Gay and Powell on his return. I could beat them before. I dont see why I cant run with them now, Gatlin said.

However, Powell while saying he wish Gatlin luck, don't think the American can match up again.

Bolt, the double world record holder in the shorter sprints, with times of 9.58 and 19.19 and Tyson Gay whose 100m personal best is 9.69 and who is the second fastest man ever, along with Powell, a former world 100m record holder, is at 9.72, are the dominant forces in world sprinting.

Gatlin has personal bests of 9.85 in the 100m and 19.86 in the 200m
