Wow... sorry, but I think this is a cop out by Bolt. No true competitor would try to rationalize a loss to a rival by saying it's basically "my year off." EVERYBODY knows there's not WC or Oly this year, but there was the Diamond League competition. You still did suit up. An injury ended your "year off." Just accept the rare defeat from another great athlete, and don't act like you're above the sport.
