Record-breaking marathoner Ryan Hall started the Hall Steps Foundation with his wife Sara Bei Hall following a trip to Zambia, Africa, where the couple were powerfully moved by the families and communities they met there. They resolved to start a foundation to help the people they met, tapping into the running community they know so well, and bringing clean water to these impoverished Zambian communities.
