Following her gold medal win at the 2010 European Athletics
Championships in Barcelona, Latvia’s Ineta Radevica has become one of
the growing breed of athletes who have come back after motherhood to get
an international title. However it was the triple jump
in which she first made her name, winning American collegiate (NCAA)
titles in 2003 and 2004 while at the University of Nebraska studying
economics. European Athletics spoke to her at the recent IAAF
