Behind the Scenes at the Nike Oregon Project's Altitude Camp In Utah

Photo journalist Thomas Boyd and I spent three days last week with the elite Nike Oregon Project training group, which has set up in Utah for an altitude training camp.

The athletes and coaches live in condos above Park City, a picturesque ski town east of Salt Lake City.

During our time with the group we were allowed to:

-- Attend an intense track session at Brigham Young University in Provo. Former St. Helens High School star Ryan Waite, now director of operations for the BYU track team, helped as a pace-setter during the session.
