Jenn Suhr Tops Out at 15 feet, 7 Inches in USATF MeetPublished by the Democrat & Chronicle on December 27, 2015 Jenn Suhr returned Sunday to the meet that launched her career as she gets a jump on the year in which she aims to defend her Olympic pole vaulting championship. Known then as Jenn Stuczynski and a star for the Roberts Wesleyan basketball team, she entered the Upstate New York Holiday Classic track and field meet, held at Rochester Institute of Technology, and qualified for nationals, which she won. "My first one ever," she said. The rest is pole vaulting history. "This is quite a place to come back and jump," Suhr said after clearing her gold-medal height of 15 feet, 7 inches and then failing on three attempts at 16-1.
