We talked to 3000m steeplechase American record holder Emma Coburn about a bunch of random stuff just to see how the Boulder, Colorado native thinks. See how she responded to some of the craziest questions we could to throw at her:

If you and Will Smith ran a 100m race, who would win?

Depends on if we get to use blocks or not. I think if there weren't blocks I could beat him no matter what.

Who would win in an 800m race between you and Usain Bolt?

I think I can beat him in a mile … I don’t know. I think the 800 would basically be the breaking point, but I’ll take him in the mile for sure.

If you could choose to have a super power, what would it be?

I think to be able to teleport wherever I want. Because sometimes after a race when I’m tired I just want to be able to teleport back to my bed.

If you were given a chance to travel to the moon, would you take it?

Yes, but I would have to be put under anesthesia for the whole ride because I get really bad motion sickness.

If you could choose a song to play in the background wherever you went, what song would it be?

Salt-N-Pepa – Push It. I feel like it’s a good entry song.

Do you think Kim and Kanye West will be together forever?

Sure hope so. They're an interesting spectacle. I hope they stay together forever.

What’s your favorite Disney movie?

Miracle. But if we’re talking animated films then I would say Aladdin because I went to Marrakesh this year to race and felt like I was in the movie and really liked it. 

If the steeplechase was a crayon, what color would it be?

Neon green, because it’s a little bold and unusual and it also stands out.
