Bolt to face best of British as sprinters take to streets at Great City Games | Mail Online

Mark Lewis-Francis and Simeon Williamson are the first British sprinters to accept invitations to compete against Usain Bolt in a street race over 150metres at the Great City Games in Manchester on May 17.

Lewis-Francis, an Olympic relay gold medallist in 2004, will be making his comeback
after missing last season with an achilles injury.

Both athletes had no hesitation in involving themselves in the new concept of sprint races on specially built tracks, which could become a blueprint for a sport trying to raise its profile.
